MIDIを逆再生用に変換するツールです
リバースピアノやリバースシンセを作るとき、MIDIを反転してオーディオに書き出し、そのオーディオを逆再生する——という手順を踏みます。ところがDAWのMIDIリバースはノートの区間ごと折り返すので、折り返しの基準が「音の終わり」になります。オーディオ化したときに発音が起きるのは音の頭なので、そのオーディオを逆再生すると、発音が元の「音の終わり」の位置に着地してしまいます。ズレ幅は音の長さぶん。長さの違う音がバラバラにズレるため、全体を動かしても直りません。和音のロールも1点につぶれます。
このツールは発音を基準に折り返します。そのため、オーディオ化して逆再生したときに、すべての音が元の発音位置へ戻ります。コード進行の順番もロールの向きもそのまま、音の出方だけがリバースになります。読み込んだMIDIのテンポはそのまま書き出す .mid にも引き継ぎます。
DAWのMIDIリバースでは何がダメなのですか？

テンポやサステインは引き継がれますか？
テンポ（BPM）・音程・長さ・ベロシティは引き継ぎます。サステインペダルやその他のコントロールチェンジ、ピッチベンドは引き継ぎません。ペダルを踏んで弾いたMIDIは、DAW側でペダルをノートの長さに反映させてからアップロードしてください。
ファイルはサーバーに送られますか？
送られません。解析・変換・試聴・書き出しはすべてブラウザ内で完結します。
A free tool that converts MIDI for reverse playback
To make a reverse piano or reverse synth you flip the MIDI, bounce it to audio, then reverse that audio. The problem is that a DAW's MIDI reverse flips each note as a block, so the pivot point ends up being the end of each note. In audio, the sound happens at the note's start, so reversing the bounce lands every attack where the note used to end. The error equals each note's length, so notes of different lengths drift by different amounts and no global nudge fixes it. Rolled chords collapse onto a single point.
This tool pivots on the attacks instead. Bounce the result, reverse it, and every note lands back on its original attack position. The chord order and the direction of your rolls stay exactly as you played them — only the shape of each note becomes a reverse swell. The tempo of the MIDI you upload is written into the exported .mid as well.
What's wrong with my DAW's MIDI reverse?
It pivots on the end of each note. After you reverse the audio, every attack lands where that note used to end, and notes of different lengths drift by different amounts. This tool pivots on the attacks, so nothing drifts.
How do I use it?
Upload a MIDI file, paste the exported .mid into your DAW, bounce it to audio, and reverse that audio. That's the whole workflow.
Are tempo and sustain carried over?
Tempo (BPM), pitch, length and velocity are carried over. Sustain pedal, other control changes and pitch bend are not. If you played with the pedal down, bake the pedal into note lengths in your DAW before uploading.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Parsing, conversion, preview and export all run entirely in your browser.
